SMILF ( Straight Men I'd Like To Friend ) is a show that celebrates queer culture, challenges norms of gender and sexuality, and curates straight male comedians to create a tasty snack of inclusive comedy. Coupled with a quiz-style game show, where our straight male comedians get a chance to prove that they know more about queer culture than just RuPaul's Drag Race. Top that sweet sweet indulgence with the cherry of a talented woman or queer headliner, and you’re in for a rambunctious riot of laughter and playful objectification.
Join hosts Marcus Williams and Wonder Dave as they introduce you to a lineup of handpicked SMILFs who are sure to have you laughing and admiring in equal measure. With their quick wit, charm, and good looks, our performance is the perfect mix of humor and hotness that'll leave you blushing and grinning from ear to ear!

OCTOBER SMILFs
Mikey Walz (@mikeywalz) he/him | SMILF
Mikey Walz is a stand-up comic hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. Mikey's Stand-up is a smarmy, silly, sometimes musical ride through his bizarre mind and harrowing life-experiences. In 2018 Mikey was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer that put his life (and comedy) on a whole new path. A path he would have to walk with only one leg (the cancer having unfortunately cost claimed the other). Having only one leg hasn’t kept him off the stage though (even the stages with lots of stairs!). If anything it’s just made it harder to get him off the stage…both literally and figuratively.
Mikey can be seen regularly at Cobb’s and The Punch Line in addition to clubs and showcases all over the Bay Area and beyond. He’s also been an officially selected performer at SF Sketchfest, Oakland Comedy Fest, Chico Comedy Festival, The Santa Cruz Comedy Festival and the Savage Henry Comedy Festival in Humboldt CA. @mikeywalz
Hayden Greif-Neill (@hgneills) he/him | SMILF
Hayden Greif-Neill is a comic who never leaves his house, so you’re very lucky to see him!
He runs a show every Saturday at It’s Your Move Games in Oakland and has performed in the Oakland Comedy Festival and SF Sketchfest as well as comedy festivals across the country
Kelly Evans (@kellyevanscomedy) he/him | SMILF
Kelly Evans the product of a conservative state, liberal parents, casual drug use and a lot of time on Reddit. His unique point of view skewers his family, himself and anything that makes him feel uncomfortable, which is a lot. He’s currently a paid regular at Rooster T Feathers in Sunnyvale, Laughs Unlimited in Sacramento and Cheaper than Therapy in San Francisco and has performed at the Oakland Comedy Festival.

Frida Sierra (@FridaSierraYeehaw) She/Her | Queer, Lesbian, Gender Queer, Trans
For over a decade, Frida Sierra has traveled through the United States, eating from vending machines and telling jokes to strangers. Coming out of the Bay Area, sweating profusely and speaking loudly, with electric fast-paced storytelling, Frida’s credits include the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, the Savage Henry Comedy Festival, the Great American Music Hall, working with people such as Eric Wareheim from Tim & Eric, Tom Rhodes, and a bunch of famous comics that wouldn’t remember her. Frida has been featured in The San Francisco Chronicle as well as Fox KTVU News and KQED.

Marcus Williams (@mwillyumz) he/him — Marcus Williams is a Bay Area-based comedian who has appeared at the SF Punchline, SF Sketchfest, and Comedy Central's Clusterfest Showcase. Marcus is known for his unique perspective and clever material, and his performances have earned him recognition in the comedy scene.
Wonder Dave (@teamwonderdave) he/him —Wonder Dave is a comedian, writer, and performer from Minneapolis, MN, now living in California. He's toured the country performing at comedy clubs, colleges, cabarets, and more.
In addition to SMILF, Wonder Dave is also the creator and host of a few other popular comedy shows, including Safe Words Showcase (with producer Jonah Price), and Mental Health Comedy Hour (with comedian Kristee Ono). Dave commentates for Hoodslam, co-hosts & stage manages for Ruckus and Rumpus.
